@carolbeecooks The BEST brown butter breadcrumbs 🤎 1. Melt 3 tbsp salted butter over medium heat. Stir frequently for 2-3 min. The butter will start to foam up and then subside. It should smell nutty and toasted. You will see light brown specks forming. Keep a close eye so it doesn’t burn. 2. Pour in 1/3 cup panko breadcrumbs. Stir to incorporate with butter. Season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring constantly for another 1-2 min until the panko is golden and toasted. 3. Immediately transfer to a bowl. Season to taste with salt & pepper. 4. Serve on pasta, soup, salad, etc!
