I’m convinced that cooking salmon in the air fryer is the most foolproof way to get perfectly juicy, tender salmon every time. This air fryer teriyaki salmon recipe is one of my favorite quick and easy weeknight dinners. While the salmon marinates, you can prep your veggies and cook the rice. Then just pop the salmon in the air fryer for less than 10 minutes and dinner is done!

You can absolutely make your own teriyaki sauce if you have the time, but using a good bottled version works just as well and saves a step. Customize this bowl with whatever veggies you love or have on hand. And if you’re a fan of spice, try drizzling a little Sriracha on top.

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Cut the salmon into 1-inch pieces and place them in a bowl. Pour about ½ cup of teriyaki sauce over the salmon and toss to coat each piece evenly. Let the salmon marinate for 15 minutes.
  • While the salmon marinates, cook the rice according to package instructions. Prep your vegetables so they’re ready for serving.
  • Once the salmon is done marinating, transfer the pieces to your air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry at 375°F for 5–6 minutes. Flip the salmon, then air fry for an additional 2 minutes, or until cooked through. (Note: Air fryer times may vary, so adjust as needed based on your model.)
  • Assemble your bowls with a base of white rice. Top each bowl with the cooked salmon and your prepared vegetables. Drizzle with extra teriyaki sauce and sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
