30 Minute BBQ Chicken Sliders
The easiest BBQ chicken sliders made with rotisserie chicken or leftover chicken!
Ingredients
- 2 cups Rotisserie Chicken, about half a rotisserie chicken; can also use leftover chicken or make chicken
- 3/4 cup BBQ Sauce, I used a Carolina BBQ sauce but use what you prefer
- 1 pack King's Hawaiian Slider Buns
- 1/4 Red Onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup Fresh Cilantro, finely chopped; can substitute parsley
- 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, freshly grated; I used Cabot Wickedly Habanero Cheddar Cheese for some spice
- Cooking Spray
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Meanwhile add shredded rotisserie chicken to a bowl. I used a combination of white and dark meat. Pour in BBQ sauce and mix well.
- Spray the sheet pan with cooking spray or melted butter. Add the bottom half of the slider buns. Layer the BBQ coated chicken evenly across the buns. Spread the thinly sliced onions and chopped cilantro on top of the chicken. Finally, sprinkle on the cheddar cheese.
- Place the other half of the slider buns on top and spray with cooking spray or melted butter. Bake for about 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the slider buns are golden.
