These crispy parmesan potatoes went viral last year on TikTok, and I finally made my own version! These are an easy side dish that I think you will constantly crave. They are flavorful and extra-crispy. I mean, who can resist a crispy burnt cheese situation?

Pair these with an easy main dish such as my Air Fryer Parmesan Crusted Chicken if you want all of the parmesan cheese on one plate (and who wouldn't?!) and some sautéed vegetables such as broccoli.

Let me show you how to make these Chive and Onion Crispy Parmesan Potatoes!

Crispy Parmesan Potatoes - Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Yellow Potatoes scrubbed and rinsed
  • 4 tbsp Kerrygold Chive & Onion Butter Blends This special butter blend, brings an extra layer of flavor to the dish. If Kerrygold’s blend is not available, regular butter can be used as a substitute. Feel free to sprinkle in some additional seasoning if you use regular butter.
  • 3/4 cup Parmesan Cheese grated; divided - 1/2 a cup will be used to form the buttery parmesan paste and the other 1/4 cup will be used to top the potatoes before baking
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Olive Oil
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp Chives thinly sliced; to serve

Recipe Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Cut yellow potatoes into bite-size pieces (about 1 inch)
  3. Pour melted butter into the high-rimmed baking pan. Sprinkle 1/2 a cup of grated parmesan cheese and the garlic powder on top. Stir to combine into a paste and spread evenly across the baking pan.
  4. Place cut potatoes on top of the butter and parmesan paste, flat-side down.
  5. Drizzle the tops of the potatoes with olive oil, season with salt & pepper, and sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of grated parmesan on top.
  6. Bake for about 30 minutes or until the potatoes are cooked through and the parmesan is very crispy, but not burnt.
  7. Sprinkle with chives and serve.
