I brought these pepperoni vodka sauce sliders to a Super Bowl Party and they were a big hit! These sliders are perfect to bring to a party or just to serve as a fun appetizer or even main course at home.

You can easily customize this recipe by swapping out the pepperoni for breaded chicken (air fry some chicken nuggets to keep things extra easy!) for a chicken parmesan version. Or keep it vegetarian by substituting the pepperoni for breaded eggplant to make an eggplant parmesan version!

How do I make these pepperoni vodka sauce sliders?

Vodka Sauce

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add shallots and garlic and cook for about 3 minutes, stirring often. Add red pepper flakes and continue to stir often for another 2 minutes.
  2. Mix in tomato paste and cook for 4-5 minutes until dark red. Pour in vodka and stir often until the liquid is mostly cooked off, about 2 minutes.
  3. Turn heat to low and pour in heavy cream. Stir to combine. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Add about half of the freshly grated parmesan cheese. Stir to combine until melted.

Slider Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Meanwhile, in a baking dish, lay down the bottom half of the rolls. Spoon sauce onto the rolls and spread evenly. Top with slices of mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle on oregano and basil. Lay on slices of pepperoni. Sprinkle with a few tablespoons of parmesan cheese. Place the other half of the rolls on top.
  2. Melt butter and add garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and fresh parsley. Stir to combine. Brush the butter mixture on top of the buns. Sprinkle the remaining parmesan cheese on top.
  3. Bake for about 15-20 minutes in the preheated oven until the sliders are warm and the cheese is melted. Serve immediately
